Cookie Policy

This policy explains the cookies, local storage and similar browser technologies that Shaadi Source uses, why we use them, how long they last, and how you can change your choices. It is provided for transparency and is not legal advice.
1. What these technologies are
Cookies are small text files stored on your device. We also use similar browser technologies such as local storage and session storage, which let a website keep small amounts of information in your browser. Some are essential to make the site work; others are optional and used only with your permission.
2. Essential storage
These support core website functions and cannot be switched off through the preferences panel, because the site cannot work correctly without them. We use them to:
- keep you signed in to your account securely;
- remember your cookie-consent preference;
- keep functional planning preferences, such as your wedding basket, budget and guest count, on your device.
3. Optional analytics and marketing storage
Optional categories are off unless you turn them on, and no analytics or marketing storage is written before you make a choice.
Analytics is reserved for future website measurement. It is currently off by default and no analytics tag is active yet.
Marketing, if you allow it, lets us store a small set of marketing attribution values with an enquiry so we can measure advertising performance and may support future Google Ads measurement. Only after you grant marketing consent, and only when present in the address you arrive on, we store approved campaign parameters (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_term, utm_content), Google click identifiers (gclid, gbraid, wbraid) and the landing-page path only. We do not store your name, email, phone number or message text through this mechanism. If you turn marketing off later, the stored snapshot is cleared.
We use Google Tag Manager purely as a container to manage future analytics and advertising tags. It loads only after you enable the Analytics or Marketing category, runs under Google Consent Mode with storage signals denied by default, and if both categories remain off it does not load and no request is made to Google. We are not adding Google Analytics or Google Ads conversion tags in this release, and we do not use Meta Pixel, session replay, or other third-party trackers.
Marketing consent here is separate from email-marketing consent. Allowing marketing attribution does not sign you up to marketing emails.

We rely on your browser's local and session storage rather than third-party tracking cookies. The technologies below are the ones this site uses:

4. Accepting, rejecting and changing your choices
When you first visit, we ask whether you want to allow optional analytics and marketing technologies. Essential technologies are always on. You can accept all, reject non-essential, or choose per category, and you can review or change your choices at any time using Cookie settings in the footer or the button below.
5. Browser controls
You can also manage or delete cookies and browser storage through your browser settings. Please note that blocking or clearing essential storage may affect how the site works - for example, signing you out or resetting your planning tools.
